What happened that month of that year

As he is in his twenties and has more leisure, it is inevitable to think about his life experience, and those unforgettable people and things in the long river of memory often flash in front of him. I remember that during the period when I worked as a "paste soup" cadre in the Zhang Village Commune in the former Shangxian County, Guo Zhenhua, then secretary of the commune, was simple, capable, diligent, democratic, and dedicated to the people.

Secretary Guo worked in Zhangcun Commune for a long time and served as deputy secretary and secretary by party and government documents. My family is a village under the jurisdiction of the Zhangcun Commune. When I was in middle school, I often heard them mention that Secretary Guo was approachable and sincerely the topic of the masses when I went home to work with adults in the farmland during the winter and summer vacations. the adults in the village like to look for him first when they work in the commune, whether they know him or not. He received him warmly. In order to understand the specific conditions of the peasant family, it is common to travel dozens of miles on foot. In the village, there is a villager named Ma, whose nickname is "glued skin". The family has a large population and is not good at making livelihood arrangements. The whole family is dressed in rags all the year round, and every spring they look for brigade cadres and commune leaders for relief grain and money. Secretary Guo and other leaders of the commune become regular guests of his family, especially in winter and spring to help them arrange their lives and deliver grain and money to their homes. The young people in the village often joke with Ma's son, "your Uncle Guo has come to your house again!" .

In the spring of 1975, after graduating from high school, I worked as an accountant of my brigade (now called Administrative Village) and deputy secretary of the party branch for less than half a year. When I went to the commune for a meeting, Secretary Guo met me in the conference room and said, "would you like to work in the commune?" At that time, I was blinded and wondered how I could come to work in the commune because I had no political background. Secretary Guo saw me and said, "it's true, but your brigade may not let you go." come to the commune as soon as possible after you go back. " The other day I came to the commune, and after Secretary Guo gave me a brief talk, I became a cadre of the "back paste soup" of the Zhangcun commune, mainly responsible for the living arrangements of the people in the commune and the work of purchasing public grain, as well as cooperating with the supervision and inspection of grain production. As a result of work, I got in touch with Secretary Guo and learned more.

Secretary Guo, who majored in Chinese at Shaanxi normal University, was tall and thin, modest in character, funny in language, and his hoarse voice was familiar to the cadres and masses of Zhangcun commune at that time. In particular, the capable, diligent, democratic and pragmatic work style benefited the people under the jurisdiction of the Zhangcun commune at that time.

Secretary Guo and President Wang Xixian are like brothers and partners. after exchanging views on major decisions, they not only find cadres in charge, such as diversified economy, agricultural technology, agricultural machinery, women's federations, credit cooperatives, water conservancy, culture, education and health, to discuss specific plans or methods, but also to study details and measures with the cadres of the brigade. Zhangcun Commune was one of the major communes in Shangxian County at the time, with ten brigades under its jurisdiction, of which Zhang Village brigade had the largest population in the county. It served as the party branch secretary surnamed Dong in the village, which was older, qualified, and held office for a long time, as well as the party branch secretaries of several leading villages. Secretary Guo recalled them to the commune or went to the brigade in person to discuss problems and study strategies with them. I once remembered that the Changchuan brigade asked for a loan to run a pig farm, and the comrades of the credit union resolutely refused to handle it because of the lack of conditions of the team. Secretary Guo summoned cadres of the brigade and the person in charge of the credit union to analyze the situation together and organized personnel to visit the site many times. Finally, a loan was given to set up a pig farm to obtain greater economic benefits. At the first level of the commune, all the brigades of the commune, such as comprehensive agricultural tools processing plants, wineries, forest farms, and all brigades of the commune tried out and popularized the cultivation of rape and traditional Chinese medicine Atractylodes macrocephala Koidz, all permeated Secretary Guo's painstaking efforts, reflecting his capable, diligent, and pragmatic work style for the people.

In the 1970s, when he studied Dazhai and model opera, the political face work of a gust of wind was very frequent, and a superior leader had a mantra: "this job is to tie iron wire to a urine can." Secretary Guo has always treated him with a cool head, neither humble nor arrogant, combined with practical handling, and put the food production and economic work of the people's livelihood in an important position in his heart. In the model opera, the peasants in Xiaolezhuang learned to sing during the day, and their superiors repeatedly demanded that this work be done, but when they could not cope with it, they repeatedly discussed that the work should be carried out in the most remote brigade of the commune, which did not affect the agricultural production of the whole commune and dealt with superior inspection, and the list of similar work was numerous.

At ordinary times, Secretary Guo and the cadres of the commune get along like brothers and sisters, with strict requirements in their work and taking care of each other in daily life. sometimes the kitchen cook is away, and he operates with several of us.

He was such a man that he later heard that he had been transferred to work in Yangyu River and soon died of illness. I miss him very much when I think of getting along with him at that time-such a good man!
