Thoughts on the Reading of Xiufeng Ren Yu

Born in Chongqing, born in luster, grew up in Wuyi Mountain and worked in Yanping, I always thought I was a drifter. Not long ago, I received a collection of essays "Xiufeng people's language" delivered by Zhang Yuxiang, a literary friend. A person living in a foreign land will naturally have a lot of feelings when he reads a book about people and things in his hometown.

Xiufeng Renyu is composed of dozens of articles, divided into several chapters, talking about heaven and earth, the zodiac, the content is very complicated, but the author talks most about hometown, people, things, and things. Between the lines are the author's endless nostalgia, attachment, melancholy and regret for his hometown.

Some people may think that the prose is empty or exaggerated because the author is showing off his literary talent. But the article in this book is not. Most of the articles in the book have a theme: homesickness. It is precisely because of this that these words do not float in the air, but close to the earth and inquire about the soul. A good book, good film and good TV series can arouse people's resonance and arouse people's memories and thinking. Reading Xiufeng people's language reminds me of my hometown. I think of people and things in my hometown. When I picked up this book, my heart seemed to be on the long-lost road back home with the author. That expectation, that joy, that moved, are gradually approaching with the pace of returning home. It is also a rare happiness to look up at the flowing or solidified clouds in the air and stop to enjoy the flowers in bud or in full bloom by the roadside.

"the world is so big that I want to see it!" Some people think that with the progress of the times, science and technology is developing day by day. We should go to big places and big cities to open our eyes. But never know that when you really go, behind the prosperity, there is endless emptiness and loneliness. The strange face and environment alienate you from it, make you uneasy, and make you confused and disappointed in the surging crowd. At this time, you are most likely to think of your hometown, the place that once brought you warmth and happiness. Every plant and tree in your hometown, a smile from people and a cry from a bird in the forest will surprise you. Many people happily abandon their seemingly poor and backward hometown and come to the brightly lit city, deceiving themselves that the city is his or her home. But in fact, it is wrong. In this strange city, when you encounter difficulties, helplessness and confusion, you can't help thinking of your hometown and the most common people in your hometown. It is they who give you warmth, hope, strength and courage to face all this. In fact, no matter how far we go, we can't get out of the ridge of the hometown.

When I was homesick, I sat alone on the balcony and flipped through the words of the Xiufeng people. When I was homesick, I tried to write about my hometown with a pen like Mu Gong (Zhang Yuxiang), remembering the man who was once familiar but now unfamiliar with the mountain and the water. As a result, people are no longer ethereal, the heart is no longer lonely!
