Two shortcuts to spiritual happiness

There are two ways to achieve spiritual happiness: one is acceptable, such as reading and appreciating works of art, and the other is giving, that is, work.

It is in the work that people's mental ability and life value have been actively realized.

Of course, the work we are talking about here is different from work just as a profession, and people often call it creation or self-actualization.

However, as far as human nature is concerned, the work in this sense belongs to all people. Everyone has a natural mental ability, and the difference lies in whether it has been fully utilized and developed.

Real creation does not care about the result, it is the natural realization of a person's inner power, and itself is enjoyment.

As long as your mind is lively and sharp, as long as you listen to it and do what can really make it happy, then, no matter what you finally accomplish, no matter what the society thinks of your achievements, you have a creative life.

The activities that a person engages in just to make a living or make money belong to work, while the activities he engages in out of his true interest and temperament belong to creation. Work can only bring external benefits, only creation can obtain the happiness of the soul.

But external interest is a very real temptation, often tempting people to work endlessly, so that they can not experience the joy of creation for a lifetime.

The most important part of everyone's life is the job he loves, through which he can enter the world and gain a foothold in the world.

With this work that he can devote himself to, his life has a core, and his whole life is organized as a whole.

Without this core, his life is fragmented, for example, it will split into two unpleasant parts, one is excruciating work, the other is idle leisure.

The level of a person's creativity depends on two factors, one is whether he has a healthy life instinct, and the other is whether he has a lofty spiritual pursuit.

These two factors are closely related and interdependent, the goal of life instinct without spirit is blind, and the spiritual pursuit without instinct is empty.

Their relationship is like soil and sunlight. Only when a plant is rooted in fertile soil and bathed in plenty of sunlight can it thrive.

The key to determining whether an activity is created or not lies in the real participation of the soul.

A painter painted an uninspired painting, a pedant wrote a book that followed others, and none of them were creating.

On the contrary, if you really revel in the beauty of a landscape, a poem, a piece of music, if you form your unique opinion on an issue, then you are creating.

Whether a person's work is respectable or not depends on the spirit of his work rather than the behavior itself.

It is as if the Creator created a wild flower, a small insect or a giant elephant with the same attention when he created all things.

No matter what you do, strive for perfection and get great happiness from it. This kind of work attitude contains a kind of divinity, which can not be summed up by the so-called professional ethics or professionalism.

In the field of spiritual creation, there can be no real cooperation, at best, only communication.

In this field, all serious and great things are done independently by different individuals in their own loneliness.

Sometimes they might as well get together and have a relaxed chat and listen to what others are doing in order to correctly evaluate what they are doing.

This is a rest after work, but as for work, it is for everyone to do it behind closed doors.

Loneliness was originally the fate of the creator, so being lonely is a necessary quality of the creator, not only in today's era.

Spiritual and cultural creation is the most personal cause in practice, and all great works in academia or literature and art are the result of individual painstaking efforts in loneliness.

There is a kind of fullness in the loneliness of creation, which makes the creator absolutely unwilling to exchange his loneliness for the excitement of others.

He basically had no choice, not that he was shouldering some noble mission, but that only by living in this way could he find life meaningful.

He is doing what he most wants to do in this life, so he has no regrets regardless of success or failure.

Unique, and then there is communication. There is no characteristic mediocre generation to mix together, only trivial, can not communicate with the language. Everyone shows their own unique beauty, open their own strange flowers, everyone appreciates the beauty of everyone else, everyone is the creator and appreciator of beauty, such a world is a delightful home for human beings.

Over the spiritual land of mankind, there is no shortage of good seeds.

The person who sowed the seed may be God, the spirit of nature, the soul of the nation on the ancient earth, or the sage and genius who created great spiritual works.

These seeds have countless enemies, including the evil and suffering of the outside world, as well as the distractions and greed in our hearts. However, the most important thing is our inner understanding.

Only for the right soil can a seed exist as a seed.

No matter how good the seed falls on the stubborn stone, it can only become the food of the bird, and it can only grow into a dead seedling when it falls on the shallow soil.

For the numb mind, all divine revelations and great creations are tantamount to non-existence.

Based on this understanding, I believe that no matter what the times, one can get the necessary resources for spiritual growth, because as long as your spiritual soil is fertile enough, those sacred and great seeds will always exist for you.

So, if you drift with the tide, don't blame this is an era of no faith.

If you take advantage of profit and forget righteousness, don't blame this is an era of moral decay.

If you have great ambitions and little talent, don't blame this is an era of mediocre spirit.

If your heart is barren and the grass is not long, don't blame the birds for pecking away your seeds. The poisonous day has scorched your seedlings.

Of course, the creation of spirit is inseparable from the external environment, but what is more important is the internal environment.

The sky is full of willow catkins, sunshine and plenty of water, but if your heart is a barren soil, your heart will not be shaded by green willows.

Only when a seed falls on the right soil can it really exist as a seed.

So, the premise is that you have a good internal environment, a piece of fertile soil, a good uterus.
